About Us
1885 Craft Cocktail Lounge is inspired by Owensboro, Kentucky’s rich distilling heritage. The year 1885 was monumental, as it marked the official recognition and licensing of Kentucky’s tenth Distilled Spirits Plant, located in the city of Owensboro.
This space was built to honor tradition while creating new experiences that feel familiar yet refreshingly different.
Our cocktail program blends timeless classics with modern originals, all crafted with fresh juices, house-made syrups, and carefully chosen spirits. Whether you’re sipping a Vieux Carré, trying a seasonal specialty, or exploring our low-proof and non-alcoholic offerings, you’ll find the same attention to detail in every glass.
The kitchen shares that same spirit of craft. From classic chicken noodle soup to our giant house-braised meatball, Gruyère smash burgers with house chips, and vegetarian favorites like crispy Brussels sprouts, every dish is scratch-made and designed to be both comforting and memorable.
